About Vd. Shailesh Muli
Vaidya Shailesh Muli has been a well-known Ayurvedic Physician and teacher in the Netherlands for many years. He has his own clinic (Yoyana Ayurveda) in Pune where he has had wonderful results with patients with many different diseases for 13 years now. Besides his university degree in ayurveda, he post graduated in Pancha Karma and also specialized in Yoga, Pranayam and Garbhasanskar. He does his own organic agriculture and creates several ayurvedic products himself.
Vaidya Shailesh has the quality to give clients a good insight into the cause of their complaints, to explain this to them in a very clear way and to guide them towards better health. He has been a member of our faculty for years and this is a unique opportunity to consult him on any health issue.
Academy Ayurveda Clinic
Delight Academy Ayurveda Clinic is to guide our graduate students in their fifth and last year before becoming an Ayurvedic Practitioner. They will be watching and assisting in the consultations and treatments that are done by the Ayurvedic Physicians.
What is an Ayurvedic consultation
Consultations at our Academy clinic will be more extensive than regular Ayurvedic consultations and you will benefit from this extensive guidance. If you are new to ayurveda, this is also the perfect way to get introduced as there will be a lot of time for explanation and guidance. The consultation package we offer during this clinic will be as follow:
Intake
A questionnaire is send to collect some personal details, information about your health and current complaints. After completion we will call you to ask some remaining questions and to prepare you for the consultation.
Consultation
An Ayurvedic consultation consists of two parts. Part I is an in-depth analysis of all aspects of your health; your current complaint(s), (disease) history and a pulse & tongue evaluation. Also your nature constitution (Prakriti) and your imbalance (vikruti) will be assessed. Part II is the recommendation part. A treatment plan consists nutritional advice, lifestyle, daily routine, herbal remedies and if relevant yoga, pranayama or treatment in our clinic. An explanation of all recommendations will be given. The duration of a consultation is 1 hour and 15 minutes. Questions will be asked by one student and the Ayurvedic Physician Shailesh Muli. Five students will be observing the consultation.
Treatment plan
You will receive an extensive treatment plan which consists of several recommendations depending on what is needed. Possibilities are:
- Nutritional plan with recommendations for meals, lists with food items, recipes and foods/drinks to avoid;
- Lifestyle advice including explanation and examples;
- Herbal remedies. When available at the clinic you can purchase them right after the consultation with a discount compared to the market price;
- Tips on natural home remedies. Remedies you can prepare yourself at home with regular food items, spices or herbs;
- Yoga and pranayama tips and advices;
Optional: Treatment advice at our clinic. If needed we can advise an Ayurvedic treatment (oil treatments, massages etc.) at our clinic in the following week. Options will be discussed and you can decide if you are interested.
The treatment plan will be send and a call will be planned to go through the plan, provide you with extra information and to clarify anything that is unclear. If herbal medicines are not available at the clinic, we will help you ordering them from our suppliers. If there are any concerns after this call, we will be standby to support you.
Follow-up consultation
After two weeks, a follow-up consultation will take place to discuss your progress and to adapt your treatment plan according to the results. Duration of the consultation is 45 minutes and the setup will the same as the previous one.
Personal guidance
A year 5 student will be dedicated to you and will take care of guiding you. The student is your first point of contact for all questions or concerns before or after the consultations. This means that next to the consultations with the Physician, you always have the possibility to contact us for questions and concerns. The student will be in charge of communicating the treatment plans and discuss possible other needs like Ayurvedic pharmaceuticals or treatment. Everything they do will be under supervision of the Ayurvedic Physician and a teacher/Ayurvedic Practitioner.
Language
Consultations and communication will be in English. If requested, all can be translated in Dutch.
For whom
We will be accepting clients with ANY complaints. Clients of all ages are welcome. There is no minimum age, children with health issues can also have great benefits from the consultations. Ayurveda has a great system to treat, cure or to support with any complaint or disease. From relatively ‘simple’ complaints to complex long term diseases. You can think about digestive problems, allergies, skin issues, all sorts of pain, mental problems, diabetes, problems with joints, menstrual issues etc. But also think about relative new diseases like long-covid. There are two periods where you can book your first- and follow-up consultation.
First period:
- First consultation: 27 February to 3 March 2023
- Treatments (OPTIONAL): 20 to 24 March 2023*
- Follow-up consultation: 20 to 24 March 2023
Second period:
- First consultation: 6 to 10 March 2023
- Treatments (OPTIONAL): 27 to 31 March 2023*
- Follow-up consult: 27 to 31 March 2023
*Treatment will only take place in consultation with the Physician and after agreement with the client during the first consultation. They will take place in the second week of a period and dates will be discussed.
Where
Your consultation will be in our private clinic in Laren. The address will be shared when the consult is booked. The clinic can be reached by public transport and there are free parking spaces.

The price per consultation is €75 (instead of €110 per hour). The total price of the package is €150.

Waiting list
If all slots are booked you can contact Delight Academy to be put on the waiting list. Waitlisted clients will be contacted if there are cancellations.
Terms and conditions
- For an appointment to be confirmed, payment must be received by Delight Academy.
- All patients must sign up for both an Initial and Follow-up Consult.
- All patients must acknowledge the Waiver that their consultation information will be used for educational purposes when they sign up for the consultation.
- If the consult is cancelled 48 hours before the schedule or earlier, then a refund is possible. Beyond this period, your payment may be forfeited.
